I've been practicing some sculpting in Blender lately and I'm really enjoying it. This one is based on a sketch by GZQ Seven (Link below). I'm just focusing on building nice forms, anatomy, and posing. The material on this is just a poly paint plugged into the BSDF shader with a clearcoat and it's giving a nice painted miniature look. I think with my background in illustration and the ease of painting models in Blender I could really push the handpainted textures and create something unique as some kind of 2D-3D crossover.
